I was sent the amazing Lorac Pro 2 palette to review by Jane at Absolutekolor.co.uk, it retails for £38 and is very difficult to get hold of in the UK.

The Pro 2 palette unlike the first is a great mix of neutrals and colour. It comes with 16 shades in a slimline grey palette with a small tester tube of the eye primer, it has 8 matte shades and 8 shimmer shades.

I have been using this for 2 weeks now and have used all the colours and am so impressed – I see this as a complete palette – it has a base shade, some highlight shades, crease shades, and eyeliner shade and some great colours, without them being too bright.

Starting from left to right on the top row – which are matte shades here are 4 great shades, i love Buff as a base shade to blend other shades on top of, and light brown and nectar are amazing crease colours and cool gray is a lovely crease colour with the charcoal shade on the lid.

This image is the wrong way up but from right to left are swatches of buff, light brown, cool gray and nectar.

The next 4 shades are AMAZING, i just love the colours here and the pigmentation is insane.

These shades are so amazing on the lid, they add so much drama and there are so many shades in the palette that work so well with these which is so important, the navy looks amazing paired with the silver shade and i just love charcoal with cool gray. The black lacks in some pigmentation, but is nice as a liner with an angled brush.

Again this is upside down, so the shades run from right to left starting with plum, navy, charcoal and finally black.

These shades do have a little fallout but nothing some loose powder under the eye couldnt sort out. But they are so soft and buttery and just look amazing on the lid.

On the bottom row left from right we have our first four shades, snow a frosty white and beige a champagne shimmer – great highlight shades on the browbone and inner eye corner and then rose and mocha, great earthy shades with a light shimmer – rose a lovely rose gold and mocha a warm soft brown.

Upside down our shades are right to left here, snow is amazing on the brow and inner corner but if its a bit too much for you beige is a lovely muted highlight shade and a nice gentle alternative.

Rose is a lovely soft metallic rose gold shade and mocha is a lovely light warm brown shade – these are great lid colours and while they are shimmery they arent too in your face or glitter packed, its a very muted shimmer that is very wearable.

The last four shades are chrome – an oddly named shade thats more mauvey brown than chrome, silver which is what it says it is, jade more of a moss green than a jade colour but deep and gorgeous and very dramatic and the last shade is cocoa which is a dark brown shimmer shade.

Shades run right to left again here, with chrome being first, its a nice shade but my least loved of the palette, its a kind of nothing much sort of colour. The silver however is amazing, I love it with plum, and navy and its also a nice inner eye highlight if you want to add some drama. Jade as you can see here is such a lovely moss green shade, its intense and an amazing lid colour, and last but not least a lovely deep dark brown shimmer in Cocoa.

I love this palette, its such a great all rounder, I can do a whole look and the shades last all day long, there is minimal fallout but nothing too hard to deal with. The shadows are buttery and soft and very pigmented and im highly impressed. I cant wait for the new winter palette and hope that i can get my hands on it because it looks to have some amazing colours in it.
